Magick WyrdWitchcraft ~ Ritual & Metaphysical Magick 18 Juli July 18th Full "Blessing Moon" or "Meadow Moon"The Blessing Moon of July glows a silvery disk as she rises, her summer warmth like no other Full Moon.
You can perform a ritual to honor her, beginning at dusk.
July's full moon is called the Blessing Moon, but also known as the 'Meadow Moon'.
Rituals held today, are typically for “increase”. A time to gain the things you desire like love, wellness, children and good finances, a “Blessing Moon” is a great time for your hearts’ desire.
These are correspondences for July’s Full Moon:
Colors: Green, silver, blue-gray
Gemstones: Moonstone, white agate, opals or pearls
Trees: Ash and oak
Gods: Juno, Venus, Cerridwen, Athena, Nephthys, Lugh
Herbs: Mugwort, hyssop, lemon balm
Element: Water
Use the element of water for divination, a particularly powerful tool this night. Take a shallow bowl or pan, glass or black ceramic if possible. If you regularly practice divination you may already have spring rain water ready, but you can obtain water from a “moving” body, like a stream. You just need a couple inches of water. Stir the water in a clockwise "deosil" direction with your finger. Carry the bowl outdoors, or to a window where you can view the reflected Moon. Raise the bowl until you can see the Blessing Moon on the water and speak:
Gently swirl the bowl while gazing at the shimmering moonlight. In respect you should pour the water onto the Earth after you have stated what you want to manifest. The renewal of the moon each month is to remind us that we are created with and have the ability to exercise free will. This is the blessing of every full moon, life is reflected from the soul when you look into the dark pool.
Blessed be~ Summer Solstice ~ Litha June 20th 2008 19:59 EDTSummer Solstice or Litha, occurs the 20th of June in 2008, when the Sun enters zero degrees Cancer.
Known as Midsummer in many cultures, it is the longest day of the year and the shortest night. In England, June 21st is "The Day of Cerridwen and Her Cauldron"; Northern Europe is "The Day of the Green Man"; Italian Strega Summer Fest or “La Festa dell'Estate”; other names include Alban Heruin (Druids), Alban Hefin (Anglo-Saxon Tradition), Sun Blessing, Gathering Day (Welsh), Whit Sunday, Whitsuntide, Vestalia (Ancient Roman), the Feast of Epona (Ancient Gaulish), All-Couple's Day (Greek), and in Ireland this day is dedicated to the faery goddess Aine of Knockaine.
As the Sun enters Cancer, the water sign, this is a time for you to collect water for your altar and spellwork. Perform ritual blessings on an annual supply, gather sea water and rain water from electrical storms for its potent energies at this time.
This is traditionally when you harvest magical and medicinal herbs, which are maturing for their virgin cuttings. Use a curved boline or scythe by the light of the Moon to harvest. Enchant your herbs and roots with a charm. It’s proper to leave an offering for the rest of the plant, and try not to harvest more than 1/3rd to keep herbs healthy and vigorous.
2008 Summer Solstice falls on Friday, June 20th. The sun ascends to its highest latitude on the celestial sphere. In the Northern Hemisphere, we have the longest day and shortest night of the year, and the reverse in the Southern Hemisphere.

Blessed be~ 20 April Beltane Sabbat ~ May 2nd, 2008Because this is a time of great magick, divinations are very successful.
Try Tarot Cards or a Black Mirror to foretell and reflect the future.
A forest or garden shrine is appropriate and will flourish at this time. If you can celebrate under a tree, your ritual is in tune with this Sabbat. Guardian spirits of the home should be honored for Beltane. This Sabbat has origins as a fertility festival, with "Nature Enchantments and Offerings to the Elemental Spirits". Beltane represents a Union of God and Goddess, the Sacred Marriage, all new life, and fertility in all living things.
Most Wiccans view this as the half of the year which is ruled by the Goddess, while the dark half (beginning with Samhain), is ruled by the God. Deities known for Beltane will be Virgin Mother Goddesses, young virile Father Gods who are favored for the hunt, and all Gods and Goddesses of Love and Fertility. Some Beltane Goddesses include Aphrodite, Arianrhod, Artemis, Astarte, Ariel, Cybele, Diana, Freya, Gaia, Rhiannon, Shiela-na-gig, Skadi, Var, Venus, and Xochiquetzal. At your altar-speak from the heart with wand upraised:
Mother goddess, Queen of the night and of the Earth;
O Father God, King of the day and of the forest,
I celebrate your union as nature rejoices in a riotous blaze of colour and life.
Accept my gift, Mother Goddess and Father God, in honour of Your union.
Hang charms & tokens on the tree, and say the following:
From Your mating shall spring fourth life anew;
a profusion of living creatures shall cover the lands,
and the winds will blow pure and sweet.
Ancient Ones, I celebrate with You!
You may perform any spellwork if you decide to cast your circle outdoors. Beltane is a magicak time, a great opportunity to perform positive magick, increase energies, and perform astral travel- to fly if you like. You can celebrate through the night, into the dawn, or start your rites at dawn, as you prefer. Celebrate by dancing, singing, twirling and jumping a fire, or use a drum, flute, any musical instrument to celebrate.
Before you close your circle, share this poem or song.
A spirited dedication to commemorate this Sabbat:
"Sparks fly err the bel fire burns, Green Man shivers as skye turns.
Moon cast shadow o’er white skin, Skyclad virgins turn wild in the din.
Oh, do not tell the priest of our art, or he would call it a sin;
But we shall be in the woods all night A-Conjuring summer in!
And we bring you news by word of mouth, For women cattle and corn-
Now the sun has come up from the south With oak and ash and thorn!"
Your can enjoy this in a group, individuals may take turns singing.
Be sure to release all Spirits and Deities after you partake in foods for thanks-giving.
Close your circle before leaving it; if you raised power be sure to properly ground yourself.

19 Januar Ostara March 20th ~ About this Ritual CelebrationOSTARA pronounced O-STAR-AH is one of the minor Wiccan Sabbats, traditionally celebrated on the Vernal or Spring Equinox, also known as Ostara, Eostre, Rite of Eostre, Lady's Day, Alban Eilir, and the Festival of Trees. Also the beginning of the Astrological Wheel, the entrance of Aries, a very magical time for Wiccan pagans and many Witches, when we aknowledge a new cycle of life.
March 20th, 2008 The name for the Ostara Sabbat is from the Teutonic lunar Goddess Eostre. Goddess Eostre's symbols were the rabbit, associated with fertility, also because Ancient worshippers often saw the rabbit when looking at the full moon. Eostre was associated with the Egg, for cosmic creation. This is how "Easter Eggs" and the "Easter Bunny" came to us. Ostara is when we celebrate the initiation of Spring, and look towards the verdant summer. The Equinox is when light and darkness are equal and in balance, then light is growing stronger by the day. The magnetical forces of masculine and feminine energy, Yin and Yang, are totally in balance during the Spring Equinox. This is a great period to vigorously start new projects. Energies are fresh and new, at the peak of their strength, you can more successfully revitalize yourself and your circumstances. Ostara promotes prosperity rituals and personal growth. This is when the great Mother Goddess welcomes the virile Sun God and conceives a child, as celebrated in the Pagan Wheel of the Year. The child is born nine months later at the Yule Winter Solstice. For Wiccans and some Witches, Ostara is a fertility festival celebrating the birth of Spring and the reawakening of life from the Earth. The energies of Nature burst forth, leaving behind Winter death to replace it with the new light and life of Spring. Eostre, the Saxon Goddess of fertility, and Ostara, the German Goddess of fertility are the dieties invoked for the Ostara Sabbat. Some Wiccan traditions worship the Green Goddess and the Lord of the Greenwood. The Goddess blankets the Earth with fertility, bursting forth from Her sleep, as the God stretches and grows to maturity. Pagan customs include lighting fires at dawn to celebrate renewed life, and ensure protection of the crops. These rituals are still common in South America and Europe. Witches celebrate Ostara by lighting fires at sunrise, ringing bells, and decorating hard-boiled eggs- an ancient Pagan custom to celebrate the Goddess of Fertility. Deities for Ostara are Youthful, Virile Gods and Goddesses, and all Fertility Deities. Ostara Deities usually include Aphrodite, Athena, Blodeuwedd, Cybele, Eostre, Gaia, Hera, Isis, Ishtar, Minerva, Persephone, Venus, the Green Man, Cernunnos, Lord of the Greenwood Robin of the Wood, The Dagda, Attis, The Great Horned God, Mithras, Odin, Thoth, Osiris, and Pan. During Vernal Equinox in the Wheel of the Year, new beginnings are anticipated. Spellwork is highly successful for fertility and any abundance. Work towards physically manifesting your desires now. Common colors associated with Ostara are pastel yellow, green and pink. Other colors include grass green, Robin's egg blue, violet, and white. All colors of delicate new growth are appropriate. Stones used during Ostara celebration are aquamarine, rose quartz, and moonstone. Animals associated with Ostara are rabbits and snakes. Plants or herbs associated with Ostara are crocus flowers, daffodils, jasmine, Irish moss, violets and ginger. For Ostara incense blend the following scents: jasmine, frankincense, myrrh, dragon's blood, cinnamon, nutmeg, aloes wood, benzoin, musk, African violet, sage, strawberry, lotus, violet flowers, orange peel, or rose petals. Crush leaves, bark, and blooms together, let them dry under the moonlight for a few nights, then burn the powder over charcoal tablets. Do this with care, place the charcoal on a bed of sand, since these burn long, and very hot. Eggs and foods made of seeds, like sunflower, pumpkin, sesame seeds, or pine nuts, are appropriate offerings to Dieties for rituals, and for your family and friends. Sprouts are equally appropriate, as are leafy, green vegetables. Ostara meat dishes contain fish or ham to be in tune with traditional practices for celebrating this time.
